A Visit from Grandpa

When Grandpa dropped by for a visit the other day we had to try out the new sand toys and the new front loader that we got. Little Blaine was in Heaven!!! He loved playing in the dirt and filling up him bucket. And I'm pretty sure that Grandpa loved playing with the loader too.
Boys were made for dirt!

We taught him how to use the shovels to fill his bucket up. He preferred to stir the dirt with the shovel like it was a spoon or something.

Little Blaine and Grandpa played inthe dirt for about an hour and by the time they were done Blaine was walking around with his eyes half open, walking into things. He did not want to stop playing even though he was so tired.

Pretty soon our dirt will be covered with grass! We are getting hydroseed this coming weekend and we are so excited but we will be taking away the best part of the backyard as far as little Blaine is concerned. I guess we'll have to get him a little turtle sandbox to play in instead.

Boys have to have dirt to play in!
