Blaine graduated from only being allowed to read board books to being able to read regular paperback books as well and he LOVES them! We have a bunch of Dr Seuss books that I bought before he was born and he loves to carry them around the house, sit on the couch and look through them, and show them to us as well.
He has quite a few favorite toys but nothing is better or holds his attention longer than his books.
He even got Aunt Tiffany to read him a book! "Fox in Socks" is Aunt Tiffany's favorite book and so when she saw that he had that one she had to read it to him.
