Blaine's First Birthday

I can't believe that my baby is 1 year old!

It seems just like yesterday that I had him at the hospital. It's been the funnest year and we wouldn't trade him for the world. He is such an amazing little boy.

Grandma and Granpa Stilson came to celebrate with us. They brought Blaine two new little outfits and the Primary CDs. Grandma Teresa also came and brought Blaine a new church shirt, little trucks to play with, and some new books. Aunt Tiffany gave little Blaine some cute new clothes too. He is so spoiled and loved by so many.

Naturally, he loved the boxes the best! We had to give him his first cake all for himself!

Daddy was a little disgusted with the mess and was not going to let little Blaine touch him!

At first he wasn't sure what to do with it.

But he really got going and loved it.

At Blaine's one-year checkup he weighed 22 pounds and 35 inches long. He is in the 39th percentile for weight and 87th percentile for height. He's taking after his daddy. He was so brave when he got his little shots in his arms and held really still while they poked his finger for an iron blood test. Mom almost cried when they gave him the shots but we both toughed it out.
