We kept up our tradition this year and attended the Utah State Fair. Only this year, since Blaine is working for the state, we got a discount by attending on Friday instead of our usual Saturday. Fridays are definitely the way to go. I don't think that we'll go on a Saturday again. Not all of the booths are set up on weekdays, but the lack of people and crowds make up for it.
Blaine Karter seemed to enjoy his time at the fair. He was really good as we walked through all of the exhibits and shared his loving smile with anyone that would give him any attention.

Blaine wasn't sure what to think about the sheep.

Blaine and I both grew up on "mini farms" and in small communities with lots of animals so we're not really sure why we love going to see the animals so much. But it's a must do when you go to the fair. It's so fun to see all the different animals.

These goats were butting heads through the fence. Of course, right as I got my camera ready to take a picture they stopped but it was pretty funny.

This goat tried to nibble on Blaine's hand! After I shooed him off of him, he went for the stroller instead! Funny goat.

Blaine and Little Blaine taking a break for a bottle and diaper change...oh and to play with their hats!

Have you ever seen a pig race? We have. Only at the state fair would you be able to see such a thing. These little pigs will race all the ways around the track for a little piece of oreo cookie!
