It took us about a month to figure out how our house was going to run with a little one again.
The first two two weeks were pretty rough. I had forgotten how hard it is to be awake ever two hours to feed. I ended up sleeping on the couch for a couple of weeks until we could get Ella to sleep in her room. Then I couldn't take it anymore and figured out how to sleep in my bed again.
Daddy's precious angels
Already to go to her 5 day appointment. They checked her bellirubin levels and made sure that she was eating well and having wet diapers. She looked great.
Blaine loves his new "stister"! He was pretty careful even with his urges to want to hold her, kiss her, and smother her with love all of the time. He loves bringing mom a diaper and wipes while scrunching up his nose and saying "she's poopy".
Grandma Teresa got to come visit us almost every Wednesday after her class at school. Blaine seemed to handle the adjustment with someone else getting attention pretty well.
One Sunday after Dad took Little Blaine to church just for sacrament meeting he wanted to lay on the couch with her. It was so cute. He loves to lay by her and hold her.
Blaine gets up on the table and hugs her and talks to her while I make dinner every night. It's pretty cute. If she's upset he tells her "its okay baby".
Daddy reading books to Little Blaine and Ella.
Time for a night-night story with Mom.
Can I get some sleep?! Not with a little one around. I don't actually think that Blaine was really sleeping here because he can't be touching any of us when he's sleeping.
Aunt Tiffany, busy Blaine, and tired tired Ella.
It's beena difficult transition from one to two but I love both of them very much. For the first month or so Blaine was really nuahgty, didn't sleep through the night anymore, and would diliberilately disobey as he worked through the transition as well. We tried our hardest to spend one-on-one time with him everyday so that he didn't feel left out and knew that we still loved him just as much as before Ella. We have gotten into a pretty good routine these days and it's a lot of fun.
