Little Blaine finds the funniest things to get into and play with. One night while I was cooking dinner he was playing with the pots and pans. I wasn't really paying attention to what exactly it was that he was doing but I was quite surprised when I looked down and saw that he had lined up all of the pans in a circle and was playing the drums with a spoon. So smart.
I love this picture that my friend took of him. It explains his personality so well.
Mischief. Sweetness. Innocence. Love. Funny.
We went to the mall one afternoon (for what I can't remember). We decided to take Blaine over to the play area. They have a big tree with the middle cut out that you can climb in and then there's a slide down one side of it. Blaine liked that for a while but then he found this water feature. Who puts water in the mall so that kids can touch it anyways?? Good thing we weren't going anywhere afterwards.
To say Blaine loved it is probably an understatement. He wanted to touch every part of it. He is so fascinated by water whether it's a little puddle on the street, a running hose, the bath tub, or an awesome ball sitting in a puddle in the middle of the mall.
As you can see he was soaking wet! Soaking wet. The whole front of his clothes was dripping wet. Luckily it wasn't cold outside when it was time to go. I fed Ella while he played and she threw up all over the floor, all over her clothes, and all over me. We were then ALL soaking wet, out of dry clothes and ready to go home. I don't know that we'll be going back there any time soon.
Blaine is devouring his special chocolate brownie that Grandpa Stilson bought just for him. He loves chocolate and it seems to get everywhere (more so than every other thing he eats).
Blaine is still a book worm. He loves to read, look at pictures, and show them to others. I often find him in his room sitting next to his book shelf with many books strewn across his lap and the floor and he is fully engaged in reading. Sometimes he is talking and telling stories or pointing out things in the pictures. He's starting to say bits and pieces of the alphabet and count here and there too. Like the other day he said 11-12-13 over and over. And he also said h-i-j-k. He won't say the beginning of either but he knows other parts. Too funny.
