Christmas 2011

Merry Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was so much fun with Little Blaine. He was so excited and got spoiled rotten. He had "Christmas" every couple of days with each new visitor that would come over and with each relative that we would visit. Here is our Christmas tree. (I wish that I knew how to turn the pictures in this thing) I thought that our little tree was just perfect for our little cozy livingroom.

The big huge box under the tree is from Grandpa Scott. He brought it over a couple of weeks before Christmas and told Blaine "no peeking". For days Blaine would walk over to the box and say "no peeking mom". It was the cutest thing. Turns out that it was a battery-powered four-wheeler. Blaine didn't know what to do with it at first and would just push the button and watch the tires spin.
Santa made it to our house and left a bunch of fun!
The little race track makes noise when you lift up the green flap to make the cars race down. Blaine couldn't figure out where that sound was coming from. It was so cute.
He became a professional "unwrapper". Good thing he hadn't opened any presents since his birthday the previous February so he didn't touch them until it was time.
Christmas Eve we had a family party with Justin and Tiffany at our house. It was a little chaos but a fun tradition that I would like to keep going.
The toys couldn't come out of the boxes fast enough. Why do they package kids toys so well anyways. Way too many ties and stickers and things that need knives to open.

Aunt Tiffany opening her present that she already found the week before.

Justin's turn to open his big present.
I had decided last Christmas that I was going to make levi quilts for my siblings for the next Christmas. I started in May and then we moved and I put it away. I got it all back out in October and had to work really fast to get them done. It was hard to find time to cut out jeans and sew with an 18-month-old following your every move and being 6 months pregnant. But I did it and they turned out amazing! I hope they love them as much as I do. They were a lot of work!
Christmas day after opening presents we went down to Grandma's house to share the fun with her after church and naptime. Blaine was a little gifted out but he still wanted to help Grandma open up her gifts.

We are so grateful to all of our family ad friends that gave us so much. I love Christmas time showing love to all and sharing gifts. I know we give gifts to each other to show love and represent the ultimate gift that Heavenly Father gave all of us his Son Jesus Christ.

I really wanted to get Christmas over with though so that I could have that darn baby girl.
