Blaine's First Christmas

"Ho, Ho, Ho" Santa Claus is coming to town and

it looks like he found little Blaine Karter's home.

Christmas this year was much different being a parent and not a kid anymore.

Christmas is for kids just like my dad used to say when we were growing up.

On Christmas morning we woke up before Little Blaine and we couldn't wait for him to wake up.

We knew that he didn't have a clue about what was to take place that day but we were super excited to see the look on his face when he saw a whole bunch of new things in our house.

We ended up waking him up around 8. Here's Dad and Little Blaine coming down the stairs to see what Santa had brought.
When we put him down by all of the stuff he just stared at it for a little bit and then he would look at us as if he needed permission or something before he touched it.
There were som many fun things that he didn't know where to begin.
I handed him his stocking for him to start.
After he pulled out the first two toys, that was all he needed.
He wasn't the least bit interested in anything else!
We helped him out a little bit by showing him other things and
showing him that he could rip the paper on the boxes.

It's so funny to me how he was so amazed with the smallest of things

--including the wrapping, bows, and boxes.

He was pretty shocked when the little saw made noise and had lights on it.

We spent the morning as a family opening presents with Little Blaine.

Then we put him down for a nap and got ready for the day.

Next we stopped by Grandma Teresa's house where Blaine

got a little overwhelmed by more gifts.

He loved his new Buzz Light Year car and didn't care about what everyone else was doing.

After lunch, we opened up some gifts from Tiffany and Little Blaine

decided that he liked the boxes and bows the best.

We are so thankful for so many friends and family that love us so much!

Little Blaine is so loved and recieved a ton of gifts from everyone.
