We're Having a Baby!

The rumors are flying and they're true!

We really are pregnant!

Was is planned? Not exactly. We were hoping to wait til this fall to start trying so that I'd be done with school by the time the baby was born, but it turned out to be a blessing that it's worked out this way.
Are we excited? Yes. I've always wanted to be a mom and Blaine will be the cutest dad!
Have I been sick? Have I ever! I've been sicker than a dog for over two months now. The summer is pretty much over and I spent the great majority of it in bed, throwing up, dizzy on the couch, sleeping, missing work and school, just barely making it and taking it one day at a time! Blaine has been such a great support and helping me out so much, although he misses his wife a lot and wishes that he had a job in the field that he graduated in.
When are we due? February 28th. That makes me 13 weeks yesterday. So I'm almost out of the first trimester and starting to feel better most of the time.
Weird Pregnancy Quirks? Quite a few. I haven't been able to drink straight water for over 2 months now. I get my water supply from watered down fruit juices and other drinks. For a week or so the only thing I could drink was apple juice. Then I started only drinking orange juice and for the last week I've added Sprite to that. I've also had heartburn pretty bad. I can smell EVERYTHING! I would rather smell nothing at all then to smell everything so strongly. Mostly Blaine's breath and garlic make me really ill with just a small sniff. Ewww, it's so groos! Poor guy!
Who's our doctor? Dr Cameron Anderson in Payson. He's great and super nice. We thought I was 10 weeks at my first appointment but we were only 6 weeks along. I saw the baby in the ultrasound, still not really realizing what was inside of me. I also heard the baby's heartbeat at 10 weeks and will get to hear it again next week at my next appointment.
