And They Call the Thing Rodeo....

It just wouldn't be summer if we didn't go to a rodeo or two! The Spanish Fork Rodeo is a must see every year, especially when The Wild Child is there. The Wild Child (seen below) has an amazing act with a dirt bike where he pretends to not be know how to ride it and does silly tricks as he rides it around the arena and then jumps a truck and trailer. It's really good and very entertaining even though I've seen this act a dozen times. It never ever gets old!
Rodeo is in my blood. Not really but it kind of is. I grew up going to rodeos and was even in a few junior rodeos myself growing up. My dad rode bulls, saddle bronc, and bare back in his younger days too. It is just so neat to see the cowboys and have good clean family entertainment.
This year we went with my family: Mom, Tiffany, and Grandma.
The baby did not like the loud noise there. I didn't even think about how loud it would be for him. The speakers were blaring, the crowd was cheering, and Blaine was crying. Luckily Grandma loves him to pieces and spent some time with him outside of the arena on the lawn to give him a much needed break from all of the noise. He was dead tired but couldn't go to sleep because he is such a little people watcher. Same thing happens at church even though it is the middle of his nap, he just can't sleep. Eventually though we did get him to sleep just before the rodeo ended.
Grandma and Little Blaine (looking quite nervous)
Say cheese...okay fine don't, but I'm still going to post your picture anyways:)
We had a great time and can't wait for the Santaquin Rodeo in a couple of weeks!

Fun times! I love the rodeo too. Poor little Blaine, I'm so sorry that he hated the loud noise. And Blaine - you should smile!
