We had the best time today as we hung out with family. We had dinner at my Aunt Doni's house. It was really good food: ham, Mom's potato salad, green salad with a yummy salad dressing that Doni made up on the fly, my strawberry jello salad, Doni's scrumptious baken beans, and rolls. I just couldn't stop eating it was so, so good.
After dinner, Doni split us into teams of two for the best egg scavenger hunt ever! They set out colored eggs with clues in them all around town! We each had a car and we're on a mission. I was teamed with Nicole and Anna Jean rode along with us. The frist clue said that it was under a bridge andwe thought we knew where it was, so we drove there and ran back and forth under the tunnel looking everywhere for that darn egg! After looking forever we called Doni and found out we were at the wrong tunnel! We were running so much it was crazy! At the next tunnel we were lucky because Nicole needed to tie her shoe and just as she was getting up, she was at the perfect eye level to spot the egg hidden in the rocks! We then drove across town to Peteeneet school, then to Anna Jean's house, back across town to the ball field, back to another elementary school, back and forth and ended at Doni's school to be the winners! Me and Nicole won! Each team got a huge baset full of candy, summer yard toys, a movie, and a cd! Wow it was a blast! I think that it should become a tradition:0
Here's a couple pictures that I caught in between all the action:
