"mown-gurt" is how Blaine says yogurt. It is so funny the way that kids say different things and this is one that he has been saying this way for a long time. He's getting so big and can use a big-boy spoon and do it all by himself.

Ella- 4 Months
Just before Ella turned 4 months old both kids got really sick. Blaine had a cough and runny nose and I tried really hard to keep him away from her but he loves to kiss her and hold her and be right by her every minute that it was near impossible. So my little angel got sick too. It was so sad. She had so much phelgm in her throat that she would get coughing and throw up everything. She couldn't keep anything down for two days so I took her in to the doctor because I was worried that she would get dehydrated. She did have brochilolitis...not bronichitis and not rsv but defnitely a virus and was very sick. No medicine would help we just had to nurse her through it. Poor thing.
When we went in for her 4 month weel check appointment she had spiked a fever yet again. The doctor said it couldn't be from her previous illness so he wanted a urine test before vaccinating her. Right before the nurse could get the cathetar in she peed all over and so there was none left to catch. So we had to wait until she did. We ended up being at the doctor's office for 3 hours that day. She ended up being healthy and her urine test looked great so they vaccinated her. The doctor had no explanation for the fever. I'm just glad she wasn't sick with something else.
She was 12 lb 10 oz (19 percentile) and 24.6" long (59 percentile). She's just a tiny one.
Up until she got sick she was sleeping through the night. That vanished while she was sick. She had to be suctioned every couple of hours and given medicine for her fever and achey pains. Poor little thing took over a week to get better. We are just now getting back to a normal sleeping schedule. She still has her leaky eyes but the doctor thinks that they will get better over time.
She is getting so strong and can hold herself up while you hold her. She doesn't yet roll over yet but she doesn't really have a need to when her brother gets her everything she wants (and doesn't want). We are giving her more and more tummy time and time on the floor so that she can start to get some movement. She is such a sweet baby and is very happy most all of the time. She wakes up laughing and cooing -- the sweetest sounds in the world really.
Playing with Aunt Tiffany
I think I've said it before but I'll say it again...Every kid needs an aunt like Aunt Titi! Blaine loves her to pieces and talks about her all the time. His latest obssession is with Titi and her 4-duhwer. Any time Tiffany or my mom call me he immeadiately starts talking about the 4-wheeler asking where it is, if he can ride it, and making the sounds of a 4-wheeler.
We can thank Aunt Tiffany for the big flower headbands! They are so darling and top off all of Ella's cute outfits!
Every now and then I can get him to sit still for a picture.
I caught a smile and I love it!
Ella - 3 Months
What a cutie!
Nothing cuter than a jean jumper with cute tights and a big flower o top of your head.
I hate when I get behind on the blog because then I don't have specifics down for the scrapbook about he monthly developments. I do remember though that at 3 months old she was sleeping beautifully through the night (10-12 hours). She would only take a bottle which made my life a bit tricky and I never leave her side for long. She had become such a happy girl since she started her reflux medicine at her 2 month well check appointment. She never spits up and her throwing up had stopped completely. She smiles at everybody and gets really excited when her brother walks in the room.
Just Playing in May 2012
After going through my pictures from May I decided to combine all of the cute pictures of the kids playing together. Little Blaine loves to read to his sister, bring her toys, and show her everything that he is doing. It's funny to watch them together. Ella will watch Blaine's every move.
While I was cooking dinner I left Ella lying on the bed. I heard Blaine in my room so I went in there and this is what I found. The barn on the bed with a truck on Ella's belly. Such a silly boy. At least he was sharing right?
A bucket with water in it = heaven for Blaine! This could keep him busy for hours.
This look pretty much says it all. Mischief.
Daddy and the kids were playing in Blaine's room one night while I was cooking dinner. Daddy yelled "you have to come see this!" So I went in to find Ella stuffed on a shelf with the teddy bear being the little doll that she is! It was so cute and funny.
I Love to See the Temple
After singing "I Love to See the Temple" with Blaine on many occasions we decided to take a Sunday drive up to the Mt Timpanogas temple and show him the real thing.
He looks so big and grown up here. Because I was carrying my baby he wanted to carry his too.
I'm so grateful for the temple and the blessings that we recieve because of it. I get to share eternity with these little angels and that is very special to me.
Daddy and Blaine sitting in front of the beautiful flowers. Too bad there were other people there taking pictures too but just ignore them.
The Mt Timpanogas temple. So gorgeous!
I hope and pray that my swwet children will get to "go inside someday" and recieve the blessings that are there for them. I'm grateful that they were born in the covenant and that we are a forever family.
Floor Play
April 17th -- 13 weeks
It's a rare sight to find Ella playing on the floor because she has such a busy big brother who loves to ride his 4-wheeler way too close and pile toys high around her. So I took advantage of nap time one day and let her play on the floor.
She's getting so strong holding her head up. She doesn't roll over but like I said she doesn't get to be on the floor very often. (Update -June 13- I have been letting her play on the floor more and more and her brother has often been caught pulling/dragging her across the floor either by her blanket or arm. So I have to be super careful.)
Ella at 13 Weeks
Ella Marie at 13 weeks old looks stunning in this darling polka dot dress.
Little Blaine wanted to have his picture taken too. He loves his little sister.
Look at those blue eyes!
She found her tongue and chews and chews on it!
Best Friends
These two have been the best of friends for over a year now. Blaine is a little obssessed with his friend Kinley and talks about her often. They have started playing together more instead of just in the same room as each other and it's really cute. During this play date Blaine starting calling Kinley "honey" and giving into everything that she wanted. It was hilarious. Arycca and I were both a little worried about this but the next day he called me honey for everything as well which settled my fears immensely. We love having such good friends to play with.

Easter 2012
The Easter Bunny found us on Saturday morning this year because he wanted us to remember Christ on Sunday
Blessing Dress Photo Shoot
My friend Annette took these gorgeous pictures for me. I think we got some really good shots of her beautiful blessing dress and her blue eyes just stood out.
One of the sweetest expressions. She is such an angel.
